The National Investigation Agency of India released pictures of 10 Khalistan supporters linked to the attack on the Indian consulate in San Francisco in March and July. Out of the three notices released, two carry photographs of two accused each, while the third notice shows pictures of the other six people allegedly involved in another case. The agency has sought the help of the general public to nab the accused.


Representatives of India and Pakistan attended a meeting of the Neutral Expert proceedings on the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) dispute at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in Austria’s Vienna on 20 September. The meeting was convened by the Neutral Expert appointed on India’s request under the aegis of the IWT in relation to issues pertaining to India’s Kishenganga and Ratle hydroelectric projects.


At a ceremony in Washington, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky received cultural artefacts that had been stolen from Ukraine during the ongoing Russian invasion, the US President’s Office announced on Thursday. Zelensky remarked, “After all, every time something returns to Ukraine, something stolen by Russians, it means the return of life and justice, which is very important.” The objects were antiques confiscated by US law enforcement after being illegally exported from Ukraine.


Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Thursday that the US would provide an additional $116 million in humanitarian aid to Bangladesh, Myanmar, and the surrounding area to help Rohingya refugees who fled Myanmar. Blinken stated that with the new funding, the US has provided more than $2.2 billion in assistance to people affected by the situation since August 2017, when more than 740,000 Rohingya fled genocide.


The Chinese embassy in Berlin warned on Thursday that it will not stand idly by if the German government decides to restrict the use of components from Chinese firms such as Huawei and ZTE in its 5G network.


The Philippines is looking into possibly filing a second legal case against China at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague over accusations that Beijing is destroying coral reefs within Manila’s exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea. Beijing has rejected the allegation, calling it an attempt to “create political drama.”
